My laptop couldn’t power on an the that ic would get very hot. I took it to a repair technician and he replaced it with another one but the laptop wouldn’t power on still, it was still getting hot. Unfortunately the repair technician misplaced the original one. Could someone kindly help me identify the ic. I want to order it

if it was replaced once because it got hot and is still getting hot, then it is likely the cause of the problem is not the IC. Without schematics, determining a cause is a remote possibility. Replacing it again will probably give the same hot IC.
