I used the Epson iprint app from my Android to update the firmware 24 hours ago. Since then the printer lcdscreen has been froze/stuck “UPDATING FIRMWARE DO NOT POWER OFF IT IS TURNED OFF AND ON AUTOMATICALLY WHEN UPDATE IS COMPLETE.” The status says the server is disconnected & photo paper is disabled. What do I need to?
Hi @angelasslove , Don’t know if this will work , but try to downgrade (or restore) the firmware in the printer back to what it was before you tried to upgrade the firmware. This requires that you have access to a computer to connect to the printer and also the correct USB cable. Here’s a link that shows how to do it. Use the older firmware supplied in the link appropriate to your situation. While it is not specifically meant for your problem, hopefully it will also work in your case. If you still wish to upgrade the firmware for your printer, here’s a link to the latest firmware, (scroll down to firmware). This also requires using a computer.
