I have and i phone 6 that powers on for 5 seconds then shuts down. Replaced the battery even though it tested 3.8 volts. No visible damage to the board. Battery connector shown 3.8 volts coming through the battery connector on the board itself. You can also see that the back light is still on and the phone itself wont power on until the back light shuts off. Then its the same thing over and over. It will recognize the phone in i tunes but will not restore the device and gives me error code 9. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Cora

sounds like you’ve got a problem with the main logic board. it is cycling through it’s start up routine, finding something wrong, and then shutting down. it will keep doing this over and over. the error code is misleading

Before you throw it away or sell it, try to restore using DFU mode or Recovery mode. Worked for me a few years ago on my iPod 2nd gen.
