I have an iPad that ran out of battery one day and hasn’t been able to charge ever since that day I pulled it out of my drawer of junk after it being in storage for four years and crossed my fingers but nothing. I’ve cleaned the lighting port connecter and have used the power adapter for my MacBook and nothing I’ve also tried to hard reset 10 times and nothing and left it charged for 2 days and nothing .Their is a very faint clicking noise when I connect the lightning cable. Any advice on what I can do to fix this issue? PS sorry about the grammar.

Sounds like a dead battery. You can replace it yourself by following this guide.

Possibly display LCD has broken down. You can try to change the screen or and battery. I guess battery need to change or re-charge by a Technician.
