I need to know which hardware receives sim network signal in iphone 8 plus because I tried replacing back glass and now network keeps searching but no network. and while i was replacing back glass it, i broke a part which was in between back camera and its flash light. does it some where related to sim network or do i need to check something else. any input highly appreciated. Thank you. or ask me again if you want to explain it more.

If you had to replace the back housing I would think the iPhone took a bad hit and it would be quite likely the issue was already there before replacement and/or the handling of the board made the damage just evident. No service flag with request to update is typical of a hardware damage to the logic board where the processor can’t find the baseband. It could be due to a number of components and will require deep microsoldering skills to be fixed. The only thing you can try is a DFU restore, but there are serious risks it won’t complete and phone will be stuck in restore mode until fixed.

The SIM socket is located on the logic board as marked here in Purple

You need a SIM held within it to tell the radio what bands your cellular carrier uses and can identify your phone. If your SIM socket is damaged and/or the cellular radio logic is damaged as well as the connections to the antenna units then you can encounter inability to connect to the network. Breaking parts is always a bad sign. Post a clear picture showing the damage and leverage the pictures within the iFixit teardown iPhone 8 Plus Teardown to identify the broken part/s so we can see more clearly what you are facing post a marked up picture as well Adding images to an existing question
