i have an atari 2600 that will not turn on. I am trying to find a repair shop in NH that can fix it and retrofit it with hdmi to work with modern tv’s.

Brett, It looks like a RCA to HDMI converter like this would work - in conjunction with an RF Modulator (see block diagram below). I can’t see the actual port but assume it is VGA from that time period. So get an VGA to HDMI adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IDFhttp://www.fullcompass.com/prod/274638-T… As to the repair, I would use the teardown and open it and first look at the capacitors. Atari 2600 Teardown See if you can find one or more that are swollen or leaking and replace them. That failing, use a multimeter to check the transistors. Having found the faulty components, go to Mouser electronics and order the parts. http://www.mouser.com/?gclid=CI_C4_PI1NM… Oh, sorry, I just reread your question and you want to pay somebody to do this for you. Never mind ;-) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjYoNL4g… I stand corrected, it is not VGA. This adapter will work: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlxH_PoX
