glass is cracked. some parts of touch screen still work, but not all. the image is also not correct behind the screen. i was able to accept phone calls, send texts, until it locked me out because it was phantomly touching buttons and causing it to lockout thinking i was trying to guess a bunch of different passcodes. im just looking for the cheapest way to get this repaired.

You need to replace the screen assembly, which consists of the LCD and digitizer. Check out this guide to see if you are comfortable doing it yourself.
You will need to replace the entire display assembly.
