Chosen Solution

When I was playing my ps4 last night, it suddenly froze on me, so I decided to hold the power button until it turned off. It never did, so (don’t judge me for this) I unplugged it. The first thing I checked was the system itself. It was HOT! Like very hot. After that I decided to go to bed. 7 hours later I turn it back on. Lets just say all I got was a blinking white light. Never changes. I tried booting into safe mode and what I am greeted with is nothing. Video never comes through. Maybe you guys can help me. Is this fixable?

This sounds like an issue with the motherboard and for DIY you wouldn’t be able to repair it without board level knowledge. When was the console purchased? Warranty on the console is 1 year and if it’s still in warranty you should get it replaced from Sony.

This is going to be a board level repair.
