I replaced the RAM in my laptop but when I boot it back up, the laptop beeps and won’t continue to boot. I matched up the from factor so the RAM would fit but it still won’t boot.
Make sure the ram is seated properly. RAM that is not properly seated will not work. This includes any clips or locks on each side. This is a common solution to this problem. You should also make sure that the RAM is compatible by checking with the company’s web page. The speed and type of RAM you are using should be recommended by the maker of the RAM.
