I put my t mobile sim in the phone and calling/texting works fine but data hardly does anything if anything at all. There’s a little E next to my data connection bars which I found out means like only 2.5g internet. Is there a way to make this 3G or 4G?
Try resetting your APN first Go to Settings Tap More networks (under Connections tab, or More, Wireless & networks, Wireless Controls, Wireless Manager, Phone Information) Mobile or Cellular networks Access Point Names Tap the Menu icon (located near + or Add icon) Tap Reset to default If you need to manually enter your APN Go to Settings Tap More networks (under Connections tab, or More, Wireless & networks, Wireless Controls, Wireless Manager, Phone Information) Mobile or Cellular networks Access Point Names Add a new APN (Menu or + icon) Enter APN settings Name: Ting Data APN: wholesale APN type: default,admin,fota,mms,supl,hipri,internet,dun If there is a free form field, enter the above exactly as written without spaces If your device has a series of check boxes rather than a free form field, check all the boxes that correspond with the values listed above. For example: your device has checkboxes for default, mms, supl, wap and ia. Check only default, mms and supl.
