My Craftsman zts 7500 died when I engage the blades or e gave steering

Check the saftety switches . One is under the seat and the other will be on the ebrake if you have one . If you have an ebrake make sure its disengaged before moving the mower . What you are discribing is an automatic kill for safety. hope this helps
