l have a WD password which its p/n is 4064-705107’-000 and lot no is jemshe087130jq .although we input the right password it doesn’t work . please help us . thanks very much for your cooperation in advance panahgar. Try this: • Download the latest SmartWare installer from http://downloads.wdc.com/smartware/WDSma… • Start the “SmartWare” application installer • Click the “Settings” tab. Click “Set Up Drive.” •Select “Install” and accept the “End User License Agreement” when prompted. Click “Continue Setup.” •Open the “Security” tab. Type your current password into the box labeled “Password.” Enter a new password and a new password hint. Confirm by checking the “I Understand” box and clicking “Update Security Settings.”

Hi! When u first setup the Passport u were also directed to the WD passport online page go to that online page and put in your login info then look for you drivers password and change it which will reset it! Once done unplug the drive and replug in. It should then work because if you do as the previous suggestion fix it could wipe your drive or not allow you to acces that info on it while creating a new section
