Hi, I tried to repair iPhone 3G that has - water damage (My first iPhone repair/fix). While cleaning the connectors, I think that I made scratch on the Logic Board where the Battery connectors are. *Scratch - See the Red square: http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/5630/im… I cleaned the connectors with this Brush: http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/6442/… Is this ok? Is this a sign of a dead situation? I haven’t reassembly the iPhone - But I want to know if this black scratch is a damage or not. Thanks :)

as long as you haven’t gone through the entire layer and disrupted the trace it should be ok. sometimes when there is a bad contact we actually scrape the lacquer covering off here to make it good! see what happens… Try a brush with longer bristles? I think the metal cover over your brush is the culprit here. i use a small eyemakeup brush, any small brush will do that can get in between the little parts. I’ll put a photo in the guide to make it clearer.
