I have a problem on my Pioneer AVH- X8850BT can’t loading (booting), but the real cam is working. I tried to hard reset, but still doesn’t work. The display is always on position Camera View, can’t back to the main menu. Could you tell me what the problem and how to fix it ? Best Regards, Nata / ntanuwidjaja@gmail.com
Hi @ntanuwidjaja , Is this a new installation or an existing one? If the rear view camera is on all the time (presumably this is what you mean when you say “real” view) then perhaps there is a problem with the signal wire that tells the unit that the vehicle is in reverse gear, when it isn’t and it is turning the camera view on permanently. Here’s a link to the user guide for the unit. Scroll to p.56 to see the wiring connection for the reverse gear signal wire (#8). Try disconnecting the wire (wherever you can get easy access to it, also see p.51 regarding the signal wire connections) and check if the unit now will respond to other user input functions etc.
