Hi, I’ve recently been experiencing a black screen problem with my phone. It’s able to receive calls and messages and such and the screen is responsive. However the screen is black and so I cannot see what I’m doing. So I wanted to ask is this due to the back light ? Or would I need to replace the LCD to fix this? Any answers given would be great ! Thanks
This is most likely a damaged LCD. The way to tell if it’s the backlight is shine a flashlight on the screen when you think it’s on and see if you can see faint images. If you don’t see anything, it’s the LCD
