I got some water on my iPhone 11 at the pool i immediately dried it off and put it in rice. It started glitching and i quickly turned it off on the way back home it started getting kind of hot. I have done everything and it wont turn on so i am going to try and get in fixed but i am not sure if it will be worth it. Please help what should i do?

Good move powering it off. But, your best bet is to quit trying to power it on until you have more information (trying to power it up could exacerbate the damage). And ditch the rice, I know it makes logical sense, but it’s not doing anything more than getting rice in your phone and helping you feel like you’re doing something (it’s just as effective as not putting it in rice and leaving it on the counter for an extended time frame). But keep in mind, it is an enclosed space that’s intended to be water resistant. Getting liquid back out once it’s in using the “wait” tactic may take a really long time. Your next step is, get the phone open and disconnect the battery. If you can’t do this yourself, take it so someone who can (preferably not Apple, they generally are not helpful in these sorts of scenarios unless you have AppleCare+ and don’t need your data). Dry up whatever liquid is still present, if any, you can use isopropyl alcohol to help accelerate this process and get into places you can’t, 90% or better is ideal. Once it’s dry (I might even leave it for a bit just to make sure all the liquid is gone, get it to a reputable independent repair shop who can assess what may have been affected. You can even try to power it up once it looks like everything is dry (unless there is obvious corrosion or damage to something). But if it doesn’t power on at this point, it’s going to need some sort of repair, and it may need repair anyways. But it could still be worth it depending on how extensive the damage is, and what components were affected.
