I have the q304ua-bbi5t10 ASUS laptop and it seems that no matter what I do, I cannot get this thing to boot. I’ve tried recovering, win 10 fresh install, ubuntu, mate, a full disk wipe but the computer just does not want to work. I got the error code ‘0x00000f’ and went over some run-of-the-mill fixes but none of them work because I already wiped my drive. No matter the boot order, it gets skipped over and boots to windows installer. Please help, I’ve been working on this for over 12 hours now and have only slept when downloading my ISO and during the cracked installation.

You probably have to go into the UEFI firmware, turn off Secure Boot, turn on Legacy Boot, then re-check the boot order. However, I have seen an Asus laptop where it didn’t seem to be possible to do that, which is very bad.
