Chosen Solution
I’ve tried restarting it a bunch of times…so my laptop can power up just fine but there’s no display, just a scratchy blue screen. Although when I hooked it up to my tv via HDMi, I can see everything: my screen saver, background, star menu, files…..so what’s wrong with it??
Hi, As you have something showing on the laptop screen then this proves that the screen’s backlighting is working. You state that you can see your desktop etc when using an external monitor but not on the laptop’s screen then either it is a faulty or loose video flex cable between the motherboard and the screen or it is a faulty screen.
