Solved I Broke The End Of The Heatsink Will It Still Work Properly Macbook Air 13 Early 2015

I did not notice the screw that attaches the heatsink to the TOP CASE, located nearest to the fan. I Yanked up on it and the very tip of it snapped off. New to this! will I need to replace the whole piece or was this just there to keep it in place?
