I have an iPhone 3GS with a non-working home button and a white screen of death (WSoD). Is there any way to turn the phone off so I can continue working on it? Thanks, John
You may have to disconnect the battery from the motherboard. Unscrewing the two screws at the bottom and letting the motherboard up should disconnect it and power it off.
