How to solder the antenna wire back on the controller motherboard?
@nytryder26 okay the antenna cable removal is around 09:00 mins. It is held in place by a small SMD antenna connector. You need to tell us if it is the connector on the board or the one on your cable that has failed. The connector on the board can be changed by resoldering a new one. It’ s small so you will need somebody with some micro soldering skills.
If it is the cable there might be a way of splicing a new cable to the old one, or complete replacing it if we can see the other end. You can get replacement at multiple places. Check places like this for more info. Ipex has a variety of the connectors and I believe Digikey.com or Mouser.com has them as well.
