So my home button doesn’t work and my touch display doesn’t work. I need to restore my phone because I’m selling it for parts but of course it only just turned on and to connect it to itunes i have to unlock but i cant touch the screen or use the home button, what the !&&* do i do
Unless you fix hardware first you won’t be able to restore. However if you need to unlock it for reselling it for parts you can do it remotely too. Get first to iCloud.com and remove the “find my iPhone”, then you can log into your Apple ID and remove it from your account. If/when the hardware will be fixed a new owner will be able to set it up as a new phone simply by restoring it.
