i saw that you can buy digitizer for s6 edge from ebay (not the glass only. glass along with wires. just search on ebay with ‘s6 edge digitizer’ and you’ll know what i am talkin about). how can that be used to fix the touch of my phone?
Unfortunately replacing the digitizer on the Edge would require a Pulse Press. You can order the glass with digi but expensive machinery and training would be required to reconnect the new digitizer. Unfortunately the cable does not attach like it does on a older LED display like the S4. I have heard rumors of people soldering this connection but I find that highly unlikely, or inconsistant. If you wish to experiment with resoldering that connection you will have to pull the LED display from the phones frame to reach the connection on the back.
People sale the touch screen for people who refurbish screens. These are not common repairs as they require a highly skilled tech and expensive equipment. Most repair shops use the full assembly. The s6 edge they are still pretty high. I wouldnt trust ebay parts for 1 main reason. The warranty on most all eBay screens is 30 days.
