Chosen Solution
So a friend of mine damaged a laptop recently. It appears to be functional software wise, but the screen is damaged. Parts of the screen are black and have lines on it (I have attached an image). I am assuming it is an LCD replacement. But before I order parts and do this repair, a second opinion would be helpful (especially since this specific model had nothing on its page until I made this). Ideas?
