how do u fix a problem with the hard drive?
Try to plug your ipod in and run it in disk mode. If your computer recognizes it in disk mode, try to format your hard drive. If it can not be accessed or formatted, replace the drive. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1363 will explain how to place your iPod in disk mode. Good Luck
