Chosen Solution
The logic board connection of the iSight Cam stripped and is stuck on the logic board. I have the entire WIFI Bluetooth iSight Cam and Antenna apparatus and could replace the whole thing but the only piece that is broken is the one end of the iSight Cam. I know I can replace the entire apparatus by taking the screen off but that would be my last resort because it is so labor intensive and I would not want to screw it up. Is there a way to only fix the one end of the iSight Cam cable? Strip and solder the connection? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Eventually want to sell the computer but this is one of things in the way right now. Thank you for your help. Garrett
Not No but Hek NO I tried this for a shop that was in a pinch the wire strands are 2 type the inner is FINE wire that if all are’nt soldered together it won’t work and they are so small your patience will run out, seriously the only way is another whole display (easiest) or the pull the glass method.
