i have water damaged charging port cable connector.(the connector that connects the charging port to motherboard) how to remove rust from it.also it is in half working condition like charging is there but no back button lighting.and the fingerprint is also the same it was working but stopped because of rust.
@parthsarthi if it is rusty at minimum that would mean the nickel will be off and it will no longer make good contact etc. Combining this with the other issues you are having I suggest that you replace the daughter board (which has the connector on it) with something like this. You did not tell us what you have done about the rest of the water damage. It is important that you deal with all of that as well. This Video will help you with the repair.
