Hey lost my trunk lock key. Wondering how to remove trunk lock barrel and assembly, and if that’s possible without a key.
Depends how much damage your willing to put up with . If you can get into the trunk then its easily removed and without damage but if you can’t then other recourse is to take a hammer and punch and force the lock in or use a sliding hammer with a screw bit inserted into the lock and pound it out. @stuartsmith , Stuart Wayne Smith , Call a local lock smith, they can get you in and make you a key while their at it. Could try removing rear seat and see what kind of access there is to flip the latch mechanism with long screw driver or you could also drill the lock out if strong arms and good drill(this of coarse will destroy lock costing$) and be careful.
