I’m trying to replacement my Switch OLED screen, but can’t figure out how to remove the broken one from my console. I am applying heat and using a suction cup to lift the screen away, but I can’t fet it to budge. Any suggestions?

Hi @zle896, I’m reading from your post that you’re not trying to replace the entire front frame, but rather just the OLED panel itself, right? If that’s the case, you need a different guide than what @cs_harris pointed out to you; this one shows you how to remove the display panel from the frame. Nintendo Switch OLED Model Screen Replacement - iFixit Repair Guide It sounds to me like you’re close; the heat and suction cup just need the addition of an opening pick; anything thin and slightly flexible will do the job, like a guitar pick or even a small putty knife might do in a pinch. Basically there’s adhesive glue all the way around the edge that’s holding it down; you’ve got to get a small opening in it with the suction cup then use an opening pick to slice through the adhesive on all four sides as described in the guide. Once the adhesive tape has been defeated, then the glass will come up. Best of luck; let us know what happens!
