Chosen Solution
So I pulled this keyboard ribbon cable connector apart by mistake and thus far haven’t been able to find how it goes together again. Also I’m having trouble seeing it! Any tips?

My wife managed to get it together. But shouldn’t this clip be in the down position? The machine does not respond to the keyboard.
You do need to be careful as its easy to snap the clip! Here’s the normal raised clip (zoom it up):
The toothed side (bottom & down) is what snaps into the hinge captures on the left and right sides. Place one side in and then slightly bow the clip so you can get the other side to snap in.
