Hi @jaamac132 , You cannot open a CPU. You will destroy it if you try. They are irreparable. If they go faulty they have to be replaced. What is the make and model number of your computer and what is the problem you are having?
Delidding is often done by people who are overclocking their systems to the max. It’s done to get closer to the chip with a heatsink.
