I recently dropped my vita breaking the internal OLED display, I have found a site that will sell me a new one stock for $100, I plan to replace the OLED display. I just need to find a way to reapply adhesive to the plastic and to connect the display to the internal vita components. Please respond with a full description or if not just give any tips you recommend.

i would just like to know if it would be worth it to repair the whole vita if there is a barely visible scratch or crack, because my nephew, he keeps all his stuff like airsoft guns, electronics, video games, etc. in good condition and he just recently got his vita and there is a microscopic crack but he’s freaking out about it

There is no way you can sepperate the OLED screen from the touchscreen faceplate without cracking or damaging both screens. I have tryed this a few times with already broken vita screens without any succes.
I can’t find a good priced replacement screen for my vita. Any one find any good site that sells screens for less? I lean $140 is to much I can buy a used one off craigslist for $120.

i went to a few repair shops in nyc to see if they fix cracked vita screens and most of them said no or just gave me a over priced repair. seems like these guys are the only reputable ones that do the repair: http://www.xcubicle.com/repair/19366/ps-…

Hi can I fix my ps vita slim screen myself can not find a tutorial so gutted but does it involve soldering the flex or does it slot in it a clip thing I’ve find a video just how to open it up that’s it I’ve had experience fixing Sony phones and looks bit similar
