My Start button stopped working, which is a letdown, since all my game need the Start button one way or another. I wondered how could I fix it, and of course where to get the part to fix it.
Hi! Before you order any parts, let’s take a look at what the damage might be. Follow this guide and check the rubber membrane of the Start/ Select buttons for damage or cracks. Next check the gold contacts it sits on. These need to be shiny and if there is any gunk on them, you need to clean them up with isopropyl alcohol. Let me know how this goes.
