Hi, Is anyone can me? I have a macbook A1286 emc 2563 logic board number: 820-2915B which power on and we can ear the shime but no video and backlight. After looking at very well the lcd connector I saw that there are some pins (about 3 or 4) on missing on the logic board and the pins maybe burned I don’t know why. I think it is the source of the problem, if itsn’t what’s the problem? Please I need the pinout of these missing pins to fix it when i’ll change this connector by a new one. regards
Drickko, it’s a definite that you will have to replace the connector. Yes, it most likely is the reason for your display not to come on. The bigger issue here will be why it burned like that. After you change the connector check the circuitry for short to ground etc. Contact 3 is the power to your LCD. your pins look like 40-36
