I have a Apple MacBook MC207LLA 13.3-Inch Laptop 2009 (Model - A1342). I have read others, watch videos but nobody has the same back that I do. I am trying to find the power pads so that I can start my MacBook without the keyboard connected. The reason is that some water was spilled on the MacBook, and the keyboard doesn’t function well anymore. It now types 2 keys at once and boots in safe mood (assuming because of the Shift key automatically being used). And also the Mac at times runs slows when trying to minimize an application and banner ads on website automatically reloads constantly (assuming again because of the keys). A external keyboard/mouse works perfect, however I’m hoping that my unplugging the internal keyboard cable that the MacBook will go back to running 100% smooth. If it does then I’ll buy a new trackpad with top case so that I don’t have to use any external devices. But since they only sell the trackpads on eBay, I didn’t want to buy it before I tried my method first…otherwise I’ll be stuck with a trackpad I don’t need.
I am most certainly not a Mac person, but according to the service manual as well as looking at the images you posted, it appears that your power pads are where the are supposed to be :-)
this is the logic board that this service manual is talking about. Sure looks identical to the one you posted.
Here are the power pads according to the manual
That would mean that yours are right here. Again, I am not a Mac person, so take it with a grain of salt, but I do hope it helps, good luck.
