I want to try replacing a broken USB connector/port on a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime (SM-G361F). Yes I know, it requires microsoldering and rework station and skill and luck. I still want to give it a shot :) Ordering a replacement USB port from farnell.com, how can I know which model exactly do I need? Is there a better way, than just visually comparing and “guessing”?Where can I get this information in general? How to read USB connector/port model names? (link to Farnell.com shop with “USB micro B” search query) http://si.farnell.com/w/c/connectors/usb

Did some hunting and found this part number in an ebay listing: p/n 3722-003700. I’ve cross-referenced it with other listings and it appears legit. Good luck with the project!
