I had opened up my MacBook pro 2015 to fix another problem and had accidently disconnected the 3 ports for the Wi-Fi and I’ve been trying now for 2 days to connect them back because now the internet isn’t working for my MacBook but there just not connecting and staying in place, I had also read on a previous forum from someone else stating how to connect them but it’s not working for me so please help me and if you have another solution that doesn’t require me having to replace the whole screen which will cost me around $300 please say so.
Update:other MacBook pro 2015
My macbook:
The AirPort board connections look OK, The center and right cable ends are a bit deformed so they don’t have the ability to grip. Carefully press the sides in a little bit (not to hard as you can snap the park off) When you press them back on only press the connector down when you are sure you’ve got it centered (Its a bit of feel here that counts). Are you sure your issue is the antenna connections? Often I find the I/O cable is the source of the problem. Review this guide MacBook Pro 13" Retina Display Early 2015 I/O Board Replacement see if reseating it fits your problem or you may need a new I/O board.
Hi Have you tried the following Taking the airport card out and cleaning the 3contacts(card and cable) and carefully aligning the connections and them plugging the card into the board I have had some small debris get stuck in the circular bit of the airport card which wouldn’t let it connect Hopefully this answers your question Thanks:)
