Hi everyone! First of all i’d like to apologize for my bad english. It’s not my native language. So here’s the problem: I have an A1278 unibody macbook with cracked display glass and keyboard, spilled with coffe. Since i got it almost for free (4 beers), i’ve teared it down and threw it to the far shelf till better times. Since “better times” came" i decided to make an imac-like desktop machine out of these parts. And the only problem i faced so far, is that the power button is connected to keyboard. But i need it to be connected directly to logic board. So i would be gratefull for the keyboard ribbon cable pinout or any suggestions! Thanks!
Ok. Figured out myself. You should connect 5 & 6 pins to boot macbook. Also last two pins immediately shut down power if connected. Here’s the pic: http://goo.gl/9d6ab
I found a power pad right above the SATA/Video connectors.
