HI I have faulty Logic board ,most likely charging circuit on iPad 4 Is there a way to charge battery without using logic board so called " jump start" , as i am almost sure charging circuit is not function and battery not being charge , can i just use usb charger ,old usb cable ,strip down wires and connect red and ground directly to battery ? Also Should ipad works without battery connected to logic board? just lighting cable connected directly to logic board viaDock Connector Charging Port Flex Cable and usb to mac computer, should itunes detect it this way or needs battery ?many thanks

Unfortunately the iPad can not be switched on and boot successfully with no battery connected and charging cable plugged in. To boot up the iPad you either need a working battery connected to the logic board or soldered wire to the battery connector hooked up to a DC bench adjustable power supply. Battery can be charged by using some special adapter to connect to DC bench power supply or by just soldering wires to it and connecting it to the power supply, provided you charge at around 2A max and with a voltage of at least 3.7(min)-4.2V(max).
