Chosen Solution
I have an issue which relates to the micro usb port on my Nexus S not working. How hard or easy is it to change the port ? I’ve looked at the disassembly here on the website and did not manage to see clearly how the USB port was connected to the board. Best regards, Daniel
Daniel Manolache, it is soldered onto the board and will require soldering to replace. The part itself is inexpensive so if you are hesitant to do it yourself, you might want to try a local TV repair shop. Parts are available at places like this
