Hi! I replaced my girlfriend’s white iPhone 6 panel, and it works super well, and the quality of the screen seems almost like the original. I can’t really notice a difference. The edge is a bit uneven, though, when compared to how an original panel looks like. Small gaps that a detail oriented eye would notice (like mine ;)). E.g. by the headphone connector. My theory is that it wouldn’t be noticeable when replacing a black panel. Have you guys experienced such gaps, and have you found a solution? Adhesive tape? I’m concerned about the gaps, since I consider starting replacing panels for customers, who might complain. Update (01/03/2017) To elaborate, it is a panel replacement/the whole screen. This picture shows a comparison with an original panel. The original to the left. Not the best picture, but when you zoom in, it’s obvious that the original has an even edge, where the replacement (to the right) has an uneven edge. Especially around the headphone connector, there is more of a gap. I’m not sure if any customer would see this as a problem?
Sounds like you are talking about replacing just the glass? This is an issue caused by non-original glass, which is not properly curved at the edges (and is flat). A non original bezel will not allow it to clip in properly as well, and will not be an even gap between glass and bezel. This can also be caused if you don’t use a bezel pressing machine, and don’t push the bezel onto the glass properly when heating. If you are talking about replacing the whole screen, it is caused by the quality of materials used to manufacture the screens (as mentioned above). Don’t buy from eBay, find a quality China supplier or refurbisher who uses original parts. If not the above, the casing will be bent, in which case you need to replace/rebend.
