Hello, I downloaded an app to help me align a satellite dish to connect to the satellite GALAXY 19. But, it have no clue how to align it. It says this: Azimuth: 214.98 Elevation: 35.17 Polarization: 25.20 How to I align this satellite with these numbers?

@gigabit87898 to set up an satellite antennas Azimuth you must consider that North is 0 deg (also can be called 360 deg.) East is 90 deg, South is 180 deg and west is 270 deg. So you will need a compass to determine true north. Then you need to set the antenna (dish)it in a South-Westerly direction. In essence, Azimuth is simply the compass heading to point the antenna (dish) toward. Elevation is the angle between the beam pointing direction, directly towards the satellite, and the local horizontal plane. It is the up-down angle. Simply it is how high from the horizon the satellite is (90° is vertical). To set it, a homemade inclinometer like this should work. Polarization refers to the filed vector of the LNB. For a good axplanation check this out. Something like this on your LNB….
