Hello everyone, My girlfriend found a while ago this broken htc one m8. It’s been a long time since we had it and I figured I should try to repair it. 1/ Do you think it’s doable ? I’ve already done two screen replacements on a OnePlus One. 2/ If so, what parts should I buy ? Should I go for a simple LCD screen or should I go for a screen + frame that is a bit more expensive. The point is that we do not really want to spend money on a phone that might not even works after the screen is replaced. I’ll join a picture of the turned on phone so you can help me. Does the screen turn off and on using the power button immediately on press? If yes, this indicates the system has booted up and is running normally. Can’t say the same for other components of the phone. E.g rear camera, microSD card reader, nano sim card reader. Whats the model number behind the phone?>
