So heres the story: I lent my friend my very nice and fairly expensive Ipod so she could talk to her boyfriend. Well she was skateboarding with it and fell, as you can infer the screen broke and I’M the one who has to pay for it to be fixed. How much will this cost? Is it worth it?
I would definitely present her with the repair bill, or at least the part bill. It’s not out of line to ask her if she would like to participate in learning how to fix it. Have the bill in full view. Remember this when you get a car because someone will want to borrow it. This just might be a very valuable lessen. Same goes for a boyfriend. (Don’t loan him out ;-)
