One of my 2 slots for ram is broken,Dont want it fixed,How much memory can i stuff into one slot? Thanks! -Ben
The systems ID structure is limited for 1, 2, 4 or 8GB SO-DIMM’s. That limits you to 8 within the one slot. There was a company making 16GB 1066MHz DDR3 SO-DIMM memory but it didn’t get any traction. You can find 16GB 1066MHz DDR3 DIMM’s but that won’t help you here.
