I cracked my macbook screen in the lower right corner and one going across the screen. i’m just wondering what the estimate of fixing it is.
The easiest way to get your system fix is to do it your self! Are you up to the task? Take a look at the IFIXIT guide here: MacBook Pro 15" Unibody Early 2011 Display Replacement. A new display unit (Glossy) is around $300 US. You can find them used for less. Other that the needed tools your labor is free!
It may be just the glass and not the actual screen. My shop charges $150 for this repair. Sometimes $10 more if I have to get a lot of little shards of glass in my fingers.
