My friend accidentally separated the top part of my phone screen while the screws were still in place. How much damage has my phone taken roughly? I plan to unscrew, reattach, and rescrew tomorrow.
It sounds like the top glass was separated from the frame; chances are the screen is damaged beyond repair. Your best bet is to replace the screen assembly as they are pretty inexpensive.
