I dropped my phone in water. It was in the water for literally 2 seconds. When I pulled it out, the phone was still on. I dried it off really good and powered it off. Everywhere I’ve read says anywhere between 24 hours to 48 hours is how long you should dry it out before turning it back on but their phones were submerged for minutes not mere seconds.
You’ll need to get the phone inspected by a reputable mobile phone repair shop. I’ve opened quite a few of these while they were only in the water for a moment they still had water inside them after a few days which ended up causing more damage to the phone because they kept using it + had it on the charger.
