Hey, I plan on replacing the upper casing of my MacBook pretty soon and I am wondering how long I should leave between turning the machine off and starting the dissasembly? I don’t want to be left with a dead machine at the end of this, and its my first attempt at something like this. Thanks

Hi! There is no need to wait. Just remove the AC power, and also the battery, and then you’re fine to start disassembly. The only way you could hurt it (or yourself) is by taking it apart while it has a power source connected.
