The camera won’t turn on. The battery needs to be charged or replaced.
Hi, Here is a link to the user manual for your camera. Scroll to p16, it will show you where the battery is housed. https://docs.sony.com/release/DSCTX9_EN_… , The battery and charger info is on p32 of the guide. For a new battery just “Google” Sony NP-BN1 battery to find out where to buy.
First, check to see if your camera needs needs to be re-charged. If your camera’s battery was fully charged and the camera is still not turning on, slide the battery cover off to pop out the battery. After ordering a new battery, insert the new battery into the battery slot and turn on the camera.
